Christopher Ewing was always the outsider. As the adopted child of Bobby Ewing, the family patriarch on the 1980s late night soap-opera “Dallas,” young Christopher was constantly reminded of his status — family but not blood.
Turner Broadcasting cable network TNT is reviving the show, set to premiere Wednesday, and Christopher, along with the rest of the Ewing clan, are back.
Actor Jesse Metcalfe has taken on the role of Christopher, who has spent the last several years overseas developing alternative energies in stark contrast to his Ewing family, known in Texas for their old-rich land.
